MISSION BRIEFING
A moderate sized-bomb has been transported by terrorists and placed in a safe house. Deactivation of this bomb is of HIGH PRIORITY. Entrance to the safe house is governed by a triple lock mechanism which can be opened by three single taps. Opposing forces may be on hand but INTEL is limited in terms of knowledge of their strength and capability. Resistance is imminent.
YOUR MISSION:
1. Infiltrate the safehouse by tripping the triple lock mechanism with three single shots. (One shot for each lock)
2. Retrieve the bomb
3. Detonate the bomb at a safe location.
MISSION DETAILS:
LANDING ZONE: Greenhills Property (in front of ABS-CBN Station)
Bulua, Cagayan de Oro
INCURSION TIME: 0700H LOCAL TIME, December 7, 2008
TEAM REQUIREMENT: 12-Man Team
450FPS @ 0.2 BB’s
DURATION/STYLE: 7 minutes/game, single round robin
EVENT RULES:
· Shooter must knock down the triple-lock system before team members can proceed to the kill zone.
· Blind firing is not allowed.
· Every team leader is required to sign the score sheet of the match they played on at the secretariat table.
· Every team will be given a copy of the score sheet of the match it has concluded.
· Radio or other communication equipment is not allowed.
· Coaching is not allowed.
· Jumping through obstacles is not allowed.
· Cutting, tearing and moving obstacles is not allowed.
· Either 1 box mag/c-mag/drum mag or heavy machine gun (M-60, etc.) is allowed but only in designated area (Bunker).
· A player can only participate in one team.
· No game fixing.
· Players confirmed hit must proceed to dead mans quarter (designated area within the game site)
· Ricochets not considered hit.
POINT SYSTEM
· 100 points for full completion of objective; 0 points for partial or non-completion
· Yellow Card (20 point deduction per violation, see guidelines below)
· Red Card (30 point deduction per violation, see guidelines below)
· Black Card (50 point deduction per violation, see guidelines below)
SAFETY FIRST ON THE PLAYING FIELD
· No real Firearms.
· No Players are allowed if under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
· Consider every gun loaded.
· Do not flaunt/show your gun in public.
· Never point the gun to anybody/anything you do not intent to shoot.
· No protective head gear (goggles/mask), NO PLAY.
· Keep your finger off the trigger until you fire.
PLAYER’S ELIMINATION
· Direct line to any body and extensions (vest, suit, pads) is considered hit.
· Friendly fire.
· Knife Kill (AEG must be aimed when tapping players).
· Ask to surrender within 5M .
· Two players on point blank draw both be eliminated.
· Jumping through obstacles.
NO HIT CALL
· Shooter cannot call opponent out
· Hit players to acknowledge by shouting HIT, DEAD or OUT
· After being acknowledge as HIT¨ raise your gun/arm over your head while going to the hit player’s quarter.
NO HOSTAGES
· No hiding behind non-combatant/hit players/marshal.
· No Holding or grappling.
· No holding on to opponents gun.
· No rough physical contact between players.
AVOID INFLICTING UNNECESSARY PAIN
· Point blank is discouraged.
· No blind fire.
· Immediately stop shooting players signifying hit.
DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES
· No coaching from any non-combatants (umpire, eliminated players, spectators, bystanders, etc.).
· Players after being hit, proceed to the dead man’s quarter.
· Marshall’s Decision is final.
· Observe proper decorum at all times and respects Marshall’s decision.
· Only team leaders are allowed to complain to the grievance committee.
· Players must respect Marshall’s decision while games are going on, any complaints must be referred to your team leader AFTER the game, and otherwise points will be deducted to your team.
YELLOW CARD VIOLATIONS (20 TEAM POINT DEDUCTION PER VIOLATION)
· Complaining to the marshals decision
· Hit calling the opponent
· Ordering/Suggesting marshal to hit call the opponent.
· Swearing/use of profane language to a player and marshal
· Ignoring marshals call(visual block)
· Using human shield, both players and marshal
· Blind Firing
· Refusal to stay at the hit player’s designated area after being called hit.
· Removing of protective head gear (goggles/mask) inside the war site and during the game.
RED CARD VIOLATION (30 TEAM POINT DEDUCTION PER VIOLATION)
· Unrealities firing (more than 3 seconds) at an already eliminated player
· Intentional hitting/firing at marshal
· Arguing with marshals while the game is still ongoing
· Ignoring marshals call of yellow card
· Playing without safety goggles or mask
BLACK CARD (EXPULSION OF TEAM MEMBER, 50 TEAM POINT DEDUCTION PER VIOLATION, EXPULSION OF TEAM AFTER 2 BLACK CARDS)
· Enticing a fist fight with either player or marshal
· Continuing to play even after declared red card
· Playing while under influence of drugs and alcohol
GRIEVANCE CONCERNS:
· A grievance committee is on hand to cater to any concerns after any given match. The committee is in charge of acting on the complaints.
· Each team will be given three blue cards for the entire tournament. The team will surrender a blue card for every grievance concerning a match they played.
· Only the immediate match will be considered by the grievance committee. Each team is to exercise discretion in utilizing their blue cards. One blue card equals one grievance to be addressed.
· A team can only air grievance about any marshal call of the immediate match. When the team has played another match, it can no longer contest any decision of the other previous matches it was involved in.
STAGING RULES:
· The chief marshal will be giving the participants the time schedules for each team to play.
· While a game is started, the next team scheduled should go to the staging area for chrono.
· Chrono will be done at the staging area prior to every game. A gun with a chrono of 450 fps using a .2 bb will not allowed and automatically disqualifies the person holding it and the AEG for that game.( .2 bbs for chrono purposes will be provided by organizers)
· Gas guns are not allowed except pistols. Marshals have the right to inspect AEGs for suspected high FPS.
· NO wearing of slippers, short pants, sleeveless, and white T-shirt.
Declaration of Winners
· Top three teams based on total points less total deductions will be declared Champion, 2nd and 3rd Placers.
· In case of a tie, a death match is to be played between the tied teams.
· In case of a 2nd tie, the organizers will convene with team leaders for a new selection process to give this award.
Declaration of Most Disciplined Team (Sportsmanship Award)
· The team with the least total number of yellow and red cards will be given the Sportsmanship Award, regardless of games won.
· In the event of a tie, decision will be based on number of games won.
· In case of a tie, the organizers will convene with team leaders for a new selection process to give this award.
